Global Experience

Toro’s work has spanned energy developments across North and South America, Europe and Africa. It includes small scale distributed renewables coupled with HFCV Refueling and EV Charging infrastructure, to participation in the industrial scale feasibility and development of over 6 GW of wind and solar electricity, and 2.3 GW of sustainable water electrolysis for the production of over 1.7 Mt of annual powerfuels in the coming years. Powerfuel projects include Green Ammonia, eMethanol and eKerosene. Toro's fuel handling knowledge also derives from the Oil & Gas sector, having developed and operated infrastructure for the production, handling and transport of liquids and gases.

Renewables & Powerfuels Project Highlight

Working with the ENERTRAG team to develop the Tambor Green Hydrogen Hub in Uruguay, to produce and export eMethanol. Focusing on technical and commercial project development along the entire powerfuel value chain, from grid scale wind and solar electricity, battery energy storage, electrolysis, and sustainable CO2 - to produce synthetic eMethanol for delivery to Europe.

Renewable EV Charging Project Highlight

Developing truly 100% renewable, non-grid reliant ultra-fast EV Charging infrastructure across North America with the ION team. Focusing on deploying micro-grid energy systems paired with onsite EV fast charging equipment, plus convenience store vending and advertising to create a premium highway charging experience, for the modern on-the-go EV owner.
